Anti-Aging Commandments – Vine Vera Reviews

There are specific skin care requirements expected of you if you want to have the most beautiful, bright, clean and pure skin possible. Vine Vera has written somewhat of a commandment list of our own to share with you, helping you learn the tricks of the trade to better skin overall. Be sure you put all of these into practice by making them an essential part of your daily regime.

Woman feeling her freshly cleansed face.

You Must Cleanse – Twice
Because once isn’t good enough, we want you to cleanse twice. Once right after the other. There is no other option. You see, the first cleansing rids your skin of oil and grease, and impurities from within the pores. The second cleansing is to open your pores, get in them deep by giving yourself a facial massage with the cleanser, and then rinse with cool water. The facial massage actually serves a dual purpose – the first being that it feels amazing, and it also releases stress and tension pent up within the skin (and believe us, stress can live there) and also, stimulates the lymphatic system to release itself. This will ultimately give you brighter, more beautiful skin. It’s a win-win situation!

You Must Eat Antioxidants
Eating a diet rich in antioxidants will provide your skin and body with the essentials to fight aging, combat sickness, and appear more youthful and vibrant. You can find antioxidants in food such as:

  • Blueberries (most berries, for that matter)
  • Beans
  • Granny Smith Apples
  • Plums

There are many antioxidant rich foods in which you can consume to provide your body with the essentials you need to stay healthy and have beautiful skin. A quick Google search will provide you with many lists of antioxidant rich foods to consume.

You Must Remain Well Hydrated
Drinking 8-10 glasses – 12 if at all possible – will provide your skin with the moisture it needs to stay youthful, blemish free, and free from dryness. This is an essential part to anti-aging skin care.

Group of friends exercising in a park.

You Must Get Active (Very Active)
You need to be active enough to break a serious sweat – at least a few times a week.  This will eliminate toxins, clogged pores through the release of sweat, and tighten and tone your skin and body. You will also enable more oxygen to find its way to the skin’s surface and aid in skin cell renewal and production, and enable stress release – which, at any age, can cause acne and breakouts.

You Must Consume Less Sugar
Those refined carbs and excess sugar could cost you – in looking years older than you really are. Sugar ages your skin, so it’s best to stay away from it as much as possible. Opt for sugar free foods and drinks, and choose whole wheat grains as white flours convert to sugars in the bloodstream.

Women enjoying a spa day with a facial.

You Must Get a Facial – Monthly!
Getting a facial is now a mandatory requirement – so tell the hubby it’s not your fault you need to spend that extra money, but that it’s something you simply must do! Monthly facials can help you control skin conditions and help you to appear younger, sometimes years younger, than you really are. Microdermabrasion is something many spas also incorporate into their facial regime, so be sure to opt for that as well.

Woman meditating in a park.

You Must Reflect and Meditate
It may sound silly, but meditation releases stress from the body – and this is essential to turning back the clocks of time on your skin’s age. Stress can trigger free radical release into the blood stream, which in turn causes acne, damage to the skin, and other skin uglies. Help your skin by taking a few minutes to relax, breathe, and focus with some mood music – it just might become your new favorite hobby.

Vine Vera hopes you have found these commandments to be do-able, fun, and easy to implement into your daily life, and we wish you health and beautiful skin for years to come.
